Devin Co.B.
(he/him)
Hey there! My name is Devin and I am a Black man of trans experience from North Carolina. In May 2020, I finished my undergraduate career with a BA in Sociology. I am hyper-committed to providing a space where all individuals, especially those from underrepresented communities, feel both visible and comfortable! I was extremely fortunate to be able to stay at Quest House during one of my surgical recoveries. Navigating my second to last post-op experience alongside other community members was nothing short of amazing!
I have had multiple gender-affirming surgeries over the past 4 years, so I am very familiar with what the recovery processes can look like. I understand how important it is to have the proper care and support during these special yet challenging times. It makes such a difference in your healing! I am so excited to be a T4T Caregiver and give back in such a meaningful way.

-Direct care after ALT phalloplasty
-Direct care after metoidioplasty

East Coffman
(he/him)
I’m a queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent trans person living in metro Atlanta. I am the creator and facilitator of two separate support groups for transmasculine people going through lower surgery - one for folks local to Atlanta, and one online. I also co-founded NYU’s Buddy Program for trans patients having lower surgery. Additionally, I have authored a number of resources for trans people seeking GAS, including co-writing a comprehensive guide on phalloplasty in the US. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Studies, with a focus on Gender Studies and Sociology.
I am extremely passionate about providing education and increasing access to gender-affirming surgery however I can, but what I ultimately enjoy most is one-on-one caregiving. I have direct caregiving experience for trans and nonbinary people after various procedures. I have also undergone multiple gender-affirming surgeries myself, so I am well-versed in the recovery process for various procedures.
Trans Caregiving Experience
-Direct care after multiple types of phalloplasty (RFF, ALT, and Abdominal)
-Direct care after vaginoplasty
-Direct care after top surgery (double incision and keyhole)
-Direct care after total hysterectomy

Danielle Chambers

Hiya! I'm a 39 year old queer trans woman living in Spokane, Washington. Growing up around mental health professionals, it was only natural that I'd be drawn to helping and supporting others through tough times. I learned a lot from that experience in my youth, and after enduring most of my own post-op periods on my own... I knew that I wanted to be there for others. It's such an intensely emotional, vulnerable, and beautiful part of transition! It brings me joy to help those going through that recovery process. Additionally, I've owned and managed and an online trans community for the last three years, focusing on supporting older trans folk beginning and going through transition.

Szonic Allure
(he/him)
Howdy there! I'm a 42 year old trans man living happily in the San Francisco Bay Area, eager to help heal both physically and emotionally. I feel that our surgeries are these incredible, amazing experiences that really need as much support as possible beyond changing bandages in order to have the best healthful healing results. Anticipating the emotional needs of others is something I pride myself in and find purpose with. Taking care of others in our communities going through gender confirming surgeries is critical! When I'm not meme hoarding I'm gaming, meditating, creating art, and playing with my furry child, Sacha Baron Cohen.
Be kind to yourself and others!

Devin S.

Hey! My name is Devin. I am queer and trans masculine, and I’m based in New York City. I am an artist, writer, ex-academic, and a t4t caregiver. I love spending my free time learning new things, taking walks to explore new parts of the city, and thinking about memes, and workers’ rights.
I have a few years of experience as a home health care aide, and I am looking forward to serving the trans community as a t4t caregiver. I was very lucky to have a trans caregiver during my own gender-affirming surgery recovery. Gender-affirming surgery is an exciting, celebratory process, and it is important to be surrounded by those who can affirm that process, through the ups and downs. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on this journey!

Jai Snyder
(he/him)
Hello there! My name is Jai and I am a trans male located in the midwest - Lincoln, Nebraska to be exact. I had the pleasure of recovering from my lower surgery at Quest House in 2019. During my recovery, I was fortunate to have met some wonderful trans people who supported me, and I would have not have made it through without them. Since then, my goal and dream has been to help others during their surgical journeys, no matter what route they take. As a person of color, I am particularly interested in caring for others like me who need a caregiver that can understand their unique needs and experiences. I pride myself in being an outgoing, lively person and I love to make people laugh and smile.
I have personal experience with gender-affirming surgeries, including having a double mastectomy in 2009, a full hysterectomy in 2015, and lower surgery in 2019.
Caregiving Experience
-Direct care for friends recovering from gender-affirming surgeries
-Direct care for the elderly
